Slow and steady. I’m not going to reach my goal by Friday, as I’d hoped...but that was a pretty tough goal. I am very pleased with myself for my self control. I am so amazed by this community with their support...it is fantastic (given the negativity in the world at this time). Absolutely love this app as I think it has been essential to my successful weight loss journey. The next 3 weeks (beginning Friday) will be very trying to weight goals (as I have 2 -week long vacations with thanksgiving and my 50th birthday between the weeks) but I am not going to throw my rules to the wind and fall into old traps. It will be interesting to see how I do.
142.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

What has helped me through celebrations are making or finding low carb substitutes for some of the high carb treats and foods so that I do not feel deprived. There are many very delicious items that can be made. Not sure if that is possible for you if you are traveling.
