DO N OK's Journal, 25 July 2017

After reading more than a few journals, I noticed many FS members were beating themselves and others up for not being able to follow a Diet or they ate something that they thought they should not have, or they gained a few #S or even did not write in there food calender. For me I've tried many ways of eating (WOE )and I believe you should just do a WOE that works best for you and try not to impose what works for you upon someone else as you do not know there journey.After many trials and tribulations, I believe I found something that works for me.A modified LC and 16:8.I will not judge or impose what works for me on you, and you should not also impose on me or anyone else.I would never judge you for eating a cookie, breaking a fast or even gaining a few #s. I will celebrate you and I will support you for just being you !!And our journey's will continue as we transform,bodies ,minds and knowledge !! Now I feel better, Have a GREAT day FS members.

I couldn't say it better Gary. I don't log everything I eat or exercise because it is too much work PLUS I would get remarks / judgments and all other forms of crap. I am finding my way and STILL living. You are doing well Gary and keep going brotha!!!

I agree with you, FS should be a forum for people to support and share their experiences not a place to put down others. It's pretty sad.

I TOTALLY AGREE AND HOLD U UP AS AN EXAMPLE THAT IT CAN BE DONE....I COULD NEVER DO YOUR DIET NOR WOULD I TRY...BUT MY LIFESTYLE CHANGE PLUS MY WIFE HIDING MY PEANUT BUTTER SEEMS TO WORK FOR ME...MY BIGGEST STUMBLE IS NUMBING THE PAIN FROM WORK WITH ALCOHOL ON THE WAY HOME

Wise words. I get loads of support on this site and try to support others. We are all learning together. We are all different and suit different things. Even if I don't afterwards with theWOE I still support others in their efforts to achieve a healthier life. 😁

I'm not here to judge others. I've found that a LCHF KETO Diet with IF 23/1 works best for me. Somebody else may be using another diet. If I see someone posting large weight drops and pictures of potatoes, corn, beans, and bread, I'll ask them for details about their diet. There's no sense in shooting down what someone else has found that works for them. By asking questions, I might actually learn something new. If somebody asks me directly or ask for suggestions, I'll tell them what I know and see if it helps.

Agreed...great posts above!! Everyone is different, what works for one may not even be doable by another. PS, don't look at my food log, it is far from perfect, (but it works for me). Constant readjustments and a balancing act between not gaining and living a real life complete with social events and even birthdays!! However, unlike my good buddy Ches, I do try and log everything...doesn't make it the "right" thing to do, but it does work for me....maybe I'm lucky but I have never had anyone remark or judge my entries over the last two years.

YES! I don't weigh myself, and what I'm seeing on here doesn't make it seem like a good idea most of the time. I prefer unprocessed foods but this very moment am buying Atkins bars to try.

I write what I feel that day in my journal entry both good and bad and I am open to both support and tips/suggestions. This getting healthy and losing weight is a tough road and I will take all the help I can get.
