Toni Bourlon's Journal, 05 July 2017

Back at work today, which means I'm back to tracking. DH is also back at work, he is doing well and is down to 233 lbs. He discovered he can eat yogurt as well as have his protein shakes, which makes him happy. He's also off pain meds, except for plain Tylenol. Next week he can slowly introduce other soft foods. He will likely start with eggs, cottage cheese and riced cauliflower. Meanwhile I'm still not wanting to eat in front of him, so I guess I'm "Slimfasting" for now. I'll eat a meal at work and have a protein shake for dinner. Tonight we'll visit with my granddaughter in the hospital, she'll still be there for another week. I'll be SO GLAD when she's finally home. Also, tonight we'll be keeping the older grandkids at our house. We all just gotta roll with it.

Btw, does anyone have any tasty whitefish recipes? Something baked or broiled? That will likely be his first meat in another week or so, chicken and beef will take a bit longer I'm afraid.
