lchf restart day 5 - doing great!

Top of the list: HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Had a moment with a friend yesterday; we used to watch Chopped (and other food network shows) together. But since going LCHF I've been avoiding those shows. So I'm sad that I don't have shows to watch with my friend anymore. I also sent a tweet to the Food Network asking for a low carb Chopped challenge. I would love to get ideas from chefs. OMG... all that butter.

I watched an episode of chopped where they were cooking healthier. One woman used coconut oil and mentioned "good fats". They had a cauliflower crust in the basket that they didn't know what to do with, one guy forgot it completely, lol. A LC challenge would be awesome!

I'm with you Oliver on that point. So many people in this world seek to make money by turning food into entertainment. We as a culture, are so overindulgent. As a dieter, the gesture is to simplify, eat for health and adequacy. Walking through a supermarket is like being in a foreign land these days for me. There's almost nothing there that looks like real food to me. I have to be very clear about what's going to feed my health and stick to it. So glad for the support here at FS.
