So I've had a bad headcold for several days, so naturally when I don't feel well I tend to eat comfort food. So no big surprise - I gained back a pound. That's annoying, but I've something else to think about. My BP seems to be going from pre-hypertension to Stage 1 - not good! Some of that may be due to the headcold, but I've been on Benicar 10mg for several years. Maybe need a stronger dose, or MAYBE I need to try the DASH diet for a few weeks, and get back to doing cardio 6 days/wk. That is what I've decided to do, yes it's crazy to start a new diet in the middle of the week but no time like the present! Need to get the BP numbers back down, scale numbers would also be nice but 1st things 1st!
