Toni Bourlon's Journal, 15 September 2016

Well I got some exercise last night - enough to make up for the lack of exercise on Tuesday, LOL! I got in a 20 minute walk on my break at work, plus 35 minutes on the elliptical at home, plus a brief 15 minutes of ab & arm work with dumbells. Unfortunately, neither my hubby nor I have made it to the 10-Gym for over a week, and I can't remember when I last lifted weights there, GRRR!!! But exercise is important - I read an article yesterday about two sisters that were "Biggest Loser" contestants, and how unlike so many, they've managed to KEEP the weight off for 5 years! Exciting news, it CAN BE DONE!!! I have managed to lose weight many times, even reached my goal weight of 135 a couple of times in the past 10 years, only to gain it back, Double GRRR!!! I think it's because, when I hit the goal weight I think "Cool, now I can relax!" Big mistake! And the weight is coming off so much slower, this article helps explain that - let's see if I can post a link:

Why keeping the weight off is harder

Hey it works!
