No matter what your plan is to get healthy (let's call that Step 1), if you don't execute it (Step 2), evaluate why and make the necessary adjustments if you plan isn't working(Step 3), you will not succeed. Many people start at Step 1 but don't implement Step 2 and wonder they are not getting the results they want. There are too many examples of people on FS who are getting AMAZING results following a specific way of eating protocol. Success leaves clues. Take a few hours to go through the food logs and the journal entries of someone with a proven track record and model them. Tune out all the noise and focus. You can read all the books you want and fill up your head with knowledge. You can cheer loudly like a cheerleader and you feel great in the moment and still feel unfulfilled. If you want lasting results, you must TAKE ACTION and make adjustments if things are not working. Don't model me now because I too am straightening up my act despite being at my lowest recorded weight in 2 years since joining FS. I have much more to go and to give. Let's do this!

yes. let us focus. And yes, i agree, whenever I check someone's diet log and see the result it makes me more inspired, and I know that I can do that. Thank you for these thoughts Ches!

Ches, agreed...I think you've cycled up & down enough to know how difficult this is if you don't figure out a way that works for you. I'm VERY happy for you now...you're doing well and found a path that works. Take care and have a great weekend! !
