for anyone following the mother in law drama ..... she is trying to MAKE my middle kid over eat...I told my husband. .. his reply "I swear I'm just going to smack her in the head!" ..... apparently I'm not the only frustrated one lol

Buck up. You've got your kids best in mind. She obviously doesn't see this and wants to rule the roost. Smile and wave when the time comes, then it's time for spring cleaning. I recall my mom taking my kids on the bus from our place back to hers 20 years ago. 1000 km by bus. I told her, "Don't let them have soda for breakfast." The next morning (overnight bus trip) I get a call. "The kids are sick." "What did you give them? You let them have pop with breakfast didn't you?" "Well... yeah." I laughed. "Have a nice trip mom." 2 weeks later we picked them up. Our 10 year old had put on 15 pounds. The trip was not repeated. Some associate food with love. Sugar is white death.

This too shall pass Hunter. I sure hope she is just doing this out of misguided "love" and not a "I know best" point of view. Very frustrating I'm sure!!

ya... her white death love is strangling my kids.... she had them while I immigrated and sold my house and they gained 30 pounds!!.... .... me, the oldest and the youngest went for a drive to cool off. feelin a bit better.

Couple more days, making memories so don't do something that will go down in history!!! But I have to admit, the drama is better than a sit com!
