MIL called at 5:30 this morning to ask me to come to the hospital because she had such a bad night. Visited with the nurses and the doctor and not really sure what is going on with her. They are testing her for a UTI, at her age that can make her be confused. Yesterday was good on carbs and calories. So far so good today also. Going to a household auction in the morning. Those are always fun, see lots of people to catch up on visiting with, and maybe snag a bargain.

Feel for you...utis in the elderly can be so difficult. Sometimes they get crazy hallucinations or comas...

Glad to hear your out and about see friends and having fun. Sorry about your mother in law. Praying she's out of hospital soon, but till then be assured that she is getting the best care possible. Have food and excellent food choices.
