Sorry to hear about your accident with the asphalt. Praying for a speedy recovery. (Vitamin E and Aloe meat applied to skin daily will help heal the skin and keep scar tissue down. Aloe is a natural antibiotic by the way. Clean wound take the meat from aloe plant then slice on wound and wrap with gauze pad. Seal with water resistant bandage keep on for 3 day and then remove. Should help wound heal with minimal scarring. Apply vitamin e oil to skin daily after wound is close.) Your a tough guy turning down pain meds. Drink lots of fluids as you body needs the fluids to also aid in healing. Excellent movement on your weight history. Hey I said, join the fatsecret highway movement in 2016 not to hit the highway literally. (Okay smile but no heavy laughing your in pain.) Okay road warrior I feel your pain and hope you will keep your gears moving while you recover and hope to see you back on your bike soon. Need a little comedy check out "wild hogs" Martin Lawrence movie while you recover. (smile) Feel better.

Glad you are OK. I remember my parents told me, you will never have a motorcycle and live with us, period.

I used to ride...risk/reward (i gave it up), my son used to ride...lost his leg after hitting a pothole at 60mph...hence the 'used to ride'. Glad you're ok, stay safe.

Mahjohn, I can't tell you how many commutes I've had on the freeway, that has made me very sick, as I drive by motorcycle deaths. So sorry for your son. At least he is alive.

he was in the Air Force, medically retired, starting school in a month...on the plus side, he represented Team USA in the Wounded Warrior Games in London last fall. Wheel Chair 100 and 200, which was at my old-track where I used to run in school (grew up in London)...
