So for the three day weekend, we're in Austin visiting my late brother's wife (4 years tomorrow), and I had my cheat day yesterday. Today started out good, I ate a approved breakfast. But lunch ended up being a total disaster of cheesy, carby Tex-Mex. DH said it was fine, we're on vacation. Feeling a bit guilty, but it was quite good. I still have time to make good choices for dinner. I told DH, "next week, when I gain or stay the same, remind me that Güeros was worth it!"

I always try to do some "soul searching" when I go off the rails. Was it truly worth it or not? What could I have chosen instead? Was it planned or spur of the moment? Not beating myself up, just trying to understand MY actions and learn from them. Sometimes it's a "worth it", sometimes "not". Only you can know....
