A beautiful day but a bit warm up on a ladder between 2 white houses with the sun and 85 degrees, happy there is a breeze. Taking a break and cooling off a few, waiting on caulking and paint to dry a bit and also for the bug killer to soak in a mud dabbers nest in the shutter so I can paint it.

Exercise may just be working on my painting, my arm gets tired as it's mostly brush work.

Some boneless chicken thighs are thawing for the grill later, with some grilled veggies (not sure what yet). I've been lax about eating properly the past few days and need to get back to lots of veggies.

Sounds like your arms/shoulder issue is resolved, then? I can totally relate on the lax diet this week -- haven't completely gone off the rails, but more discipline is definitely in order -- STAT. Next challenge can't begin soon enough!

Leigh, shoulder/ upper back just a muscle spasm. Luckily the left side and am right handed but no issues. I haven't gone off and eaten too much, have had a bit of beer and l keep forgetting to eat so not eating enough. Am eating some lunch so a start. ;) Then back at painting.

As the day goes on the arm is tired and it's 20 minutes painting and a break to rest it and cool off. I will still have yet another coat on the shutters to do in the am as it will take 3 coats and the top of the chimney will need the 2nd coat the rest is done. It's too hot on that side of the house. The chicken is going into a quick marinade of chopped Thai basil, balsamic vinegar and a bit of oil, salt and pepper. A garnet yam will go in the small oven and some cauliflower tossed in a bit of olive oil. I'll also toss a few cherry tomatoes in the same marinade as the chicken and put them on a pan on the grill. I know I will have leftovers for tomorrow.

Painting outside Jeri? That's a big job. Food sounds nice, as always ☺

Heidi, just trim and garage doors but the detail is taking way longer than I had planned. My one day job has turned into more than 3. I also thought I could do much with a roller but the surface of the chimney siding is too rough so it's almost all with a brush.
