I'm up about 1.5 lbs. Must be because I went to a graduation party Thursday and ate a little off diet. Working at bringing it back down by Monday. Eating off-diet brings back the cravings with a vengeance! Suddenly I want bread and chips and carb-type goodies. This evening is another party and tomorrow is a Sunday when we all eat lunch together. I promise myself I will skip desserts! I will take a fruit salad to eat instead. Hubby just bought a watermelon and cantelope at a roadside stand.
Temp on Thursday afternoon was 109 when I got off work at library. Looks like 107 today. Waiting for next week when temps are supposed to be below 100 for 4 days in a row. 96 degrees sounds like a blessed cold front!

I bring a avocado every where and substitute for the carbs. While I was on keto. I’m eating 100 g carbs know but i still bring my avocado 😂

I cannot go off my woe now-a-days. It causes intense cravings and I end up just giving in for a week of 'no-no' food. So I can't even do one little bite. My BFF keeps telling me, "aw, you can eat just one", HA, NOPE I CAN"T. I've been good over a week but it is so difficult. HOT here also and I'm not motivated to do much else but work (PT) eat & sleep.

That is the point, to just get into a steady state of non-impulsive eating - to stick to choices that don't trigger you addictions. I know when I'm off plan, I keep thinking about sweet, carby foods, but when I 'm eating on keto, I just don't want it.
