skwhite's Journal, 02 April 2015

I have to be honest I am really struggling to find a balance with work, home, working out and eating. It seems that eating and working are winning and I don't like it. I know that soon things will settle down some with work and I won't be working well over 40 hours, I am thankful for my job and I love what I do. It seems like mine and hubby's calendar is filling up for May and we are just beginning April. Somebody put on the breaks! Please don't get me wrong I am not complaining, I love my life, I have just been noticing the scale creep up and I feel like that is a reality check for me to get it back together. So I am working on a new plan to get some time for me to get a good workout in and I am going to try and keep my calories below 2000.

Hi SKW,:) I see some very nutritional foods in your diet! I also see some added sugar, that may be causing the extra wt in the long run? You know what to do, because I have heard you speak it in your journals. You can do this, once you re wrap you brain around your new way of eating! Most of my Buddies are Christians on here, I think that you said that you are...so with that being said. The Lord God, can hold your hand during these frustrating moments, and help you get centered! He cares for you, and he is our help mate. He is always there for you. My comment is, Give your diet, and you frustrations to "Him," and you will find your peace again! In His Love~Ann

I do know how to do this and had lot's of prayer last night. I am also highly stressed which leads to the extra sugar. Yikes!! Thanks friend!!

What about choosing a diet plan that's really easy for you to follow without too much effort? It tends to be different for each person, but the ones I find really simple are the 2 and 5 diet (fasting 2 days a week is actually really easy for a lazy person) and the weight watchers "no-count" (now defunct) diet which was incredibly simple with basic rules to follow to encourage just eating healthy foods. For some people, diet shakes help, as they are so easy to prepare, or delivered meals (I sooo wish I could get them here!)

Hang in there - maybe decide exercise is your priority because it reduces stress overall and will burn the sugar.
