DREAMS. I have been having the strangest dreams lately. Last week I I was binge eating to the point of being physically ill in my dream. I couldn't stop myself. It was horrid. Last night in my dream I was feeling so good about myself, about losing weight and then I saw my reflection in a mirror and I was very obese, my stomach was huge, I looked horrible. Rather disturbing. So ... I decided to remind myself about the "before" and "now" Carol pictorially. This is me back in 2003 ... This is me "now" ... just last week

You've done good (said with my best Texas twang). You've accomplished a lot. Your dream sounds a lot like what you posted about earlier....self image, and still seeing yourself as fat, even after losing weight. I think a lot of that will still be there in the back of the mind, even after the weight is gone. Just keep those photos to remind yourself of the difference whenever you have those moments.

Amazing! And your dog seems to think so, too! :) You've done such a great job. The 'old you' had to come out in your dream, because that's the ONLY place it will be anymore!

Amy ... yea .. that must be it ... the "old" me can only come out in my dreams!! Thanks everyone so much!! I just finished looking through all the photos I had on my puter and putting them in an album on facebook ... so I can go and look and remind myself with pictures of this "up" and "down" journey I've been on for so many years. I'm going to keep it down this time. I AM, I AM, I AM!!!!
