I'm excited! I have been trying to figure out how to get back into Bikram yoga without spending big bucks (I can't justify spending more on exercise than I already am on my gym membership and personal training). So I contacted the local Bikram studio and offered to redo their website in exchange for free yoga tuition...and they went for it! I'm on deadline tonight at work, so I'm not sure I'll get to the class in time, but I am for sure going tomorrow!

Also...getting enough calories in is starting to get difficult. With drinking all the water I am drinking, I'm just not getting that hungry anymore! But I'm trying to keep my calories around 1350 for the day, because my trainer says dipping lower than that can slow my metabolism and cause the exhaustion I've been feeling after my early morning workouts.

Woohoo! Way to find a creative solution! I just mentioned this on another journal - if you want to add some calories without being too filled up, try small portions of nuts. High in calories, but good for you!

Yes, I need to go buy some almonds. I have a cute little tin that fits just enough for one serving. Plus, there are so many great flavors to try now! I'ma big fan of the chipotle chile and lime and the cinnamon sugar from Blue Diamond...also the cocoa-covered ones by Emerald Nuts. Tons of flavor, but no extra fats! Yum!
