Diana 1234's Journal, 15 May 2022

Well...a little surprised at the amount but not unexpected. I had a full week of eating things I don't normally eat, drinking to much wine, ( I rarely drink at home) and not going to a gym or working out much. I needed a breather. Eating clean definitely makes my body and mind feel better but it takes discipline and every once in awhile I just want to break loose. I'm not sorry as I had a great time on vacation and now it's time to get back to my routine.
I prefer to eat a healthier, non processed diet, mostly for the autoimmune benefits I get from it. I was starting to feel sluggish and I don't like that.
Back to CICO and a sprinkling of carb cycling in there...I'll be back on track soon. 💜💜💜💜💪💪

You deserve a break now and then! I am very fearful of the "break" I will be taking in June. We are going out of town with family. There will be eating - lots of it, I'm sure. And no scale to keep me honest! I know we will be active, but how much will really keep the cals at bay? I am worried, but still excited! You will get back to basics and so will I .... but after how much damage? Ugh! 🌎 🫶 🌼 🌸 🌹

It’s water, glycogen, and waste. It will be gone by next Saturday👍.

Livinbreezy, thank you for your kindness. I appreciate your support very much! 💜 3dkids, it was a good experiment but next time I think I'll take my scale. I think it will help me feel accountable. Towards the end of week I did start not wanting " junk" food anymore..I think my body was screaming, "enough already!" 😂😂😂 Tom Maincoon, you guys are both right! I had fun and enjoyed my time so that is part of healthy living, right? I also realize that 133 isn't horrible. In fact I'm going to try and stay around 130. 128 was beginning to make me look gaunt..it's weird how 2 lbs can make a difference..Allegra, I agree. I usually bounce back fairly quickly, although the older I get the more difficult it becomes. A few lbs should not be to much of a problem though.

I always expect a gain when I am away from home. You always eat so well I'll bet you'll drop everything you gained in a day or two.
