Hi guys! I’ve not been on the app as much this mont because I decided to consciously not log. It’s been weird, but good to eat a little more freely and not examine everything so closely. Weight looks good, but my scan shows fat gain and muscle loss. I’m going to see what I can do about that.
222.8 lb Lost so far: 68.2 lb.    Still to go: 7.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is interesting how everyone views this tool and recording what they eat. I have never felt restricted in what I eat because of this app. It is just a place I record what I have eaten and shows me how many calories I have eaten. I use that info to make my judgements on what to eat. It helps me a lot, and when I stepped away from recording, I found I ate WAY too much without thinking. Glad to see you back. Stay healthy in mind, body, spirit and sociality.

I don't use this site to track stuff, other than the occasional weigh in. Counting makes me obsessive. I think we all know to eat smaller portions and limit foods lacking nutrition to just special occasions, rather than every weekend. We know, we just have to DO.

I actually believe that I was eating more when I was tracking because I was trying to hit protein and fiber goals. I wouldn’t say I ever felt restricted from anything while recording, it was more of an education than a punishment.

I use the tracker like the weather forecast. I dress according to the temperature. I choose my foods and prep methods based on how I feel the calories and macros are going for the week. If you can stay within your happy zone without logging great! I know I still do better with guardrails. We all have to find what we need to reach and maintain our personal goals. Blessings on your healthy life.

Eat to fuel. Busy day? Eat more. Chill day? Eat more... Kidding. Last time I saw you, you were getting all sortsa jacked, man! I think "muscle loss" is a technical exaggeration - you probably just got a little bit of padding, but nothing a few weeks at the gym can't cure 💪. My membership finally lapsed, but get me in on a guest pass one day when the BBQ pit takes a day off and I'll join you guys if you're interested. Lemme know, punk!

Monday is the day to meet me at the gym. We get there by 4 pm. Serving up pulled pork for the celebration night for everyone that’s been losing weight. Keeping these guys in business! 😂 The scan is screwy month to month. Did another scan last night and the muscle was back, fat was gone! 😄

My schedule may be changing soon, taking away my Mondays/Tuesdays off, but lemme see what my new hours will be. If nothing changes, I'll let you know and see you guys on a Monday evening, sir!
