Yesterday we put up our first artificial Christmas tree. My Wife always preferred a real tree since we were first married. This year, realizing that I'm getting older and preparing for the future she consented to an artificial tree. My children cheered the new tree and the Grands have seen a real tree at our house. We felt like it was time to switch. We are celebrating getting the tree put up early. Usually, we don't put our tree up until two or three weeks before Christmas. We haven't decorated it yet but the hard part is done. I ate way under my calorie goal, barely missed my protein goal, and did not meet some activity goals. 817 kcal deficit // BF↓0.1% and is still out of range // Sleep Goal met

The older I get, the more into "easy" I am! The tree looks perfect. I'm intrigued by the wooden? art sculptures on the table to the right.

You'll like the way artificial tree branches can hold heavier ornaments more securely, and you can bend the tips of the branches to hold onto ornaments.

@GayleMaz, we have had those statues for a long time. Yes, they are carved wood. We got them from a local importer about 30 years ago. I used to know more details about them but it's been so long that I don't remember now. I need to do some research...
