Can't believe I lost another pound! But, I realize that from here on out each successive pound will require more effort to lose.

Today I will pry myself away from my peaceful surroundings and hit the grocery store and Farmers Market. Got to keep the right foods in the house. Fortunately I still have some fresh tomatoes and peppers coming from my garden.

Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday. Am off now to eat my breakfast.

I'm guessing some people would be tempted to blithely say, "Hey, don't EXPECT it to get harder! Think positive!" I know and you know that we have all been down the same road multiple times and end by knowing our weaknesses, as well as our body's tendencies. Congrats on the pound lost and yes, get that healthy food in the house stat so you can keep up this great momentum. I got sent on an unexpected last-minute assignment yesterday and didn't have time to make a meal and/or snack to take with me. I HATED having to get fast food, but made one of the better choices among items that could be eaten while driving. I have eaten a lot of fruits and vegetables since then to counteract it, lol.

Buffy good job on your continued downward trend. Having the right food in the house defiantly helps. Gillian, I hate that when you have to grab something to eat while driving. I try to be prepared but there are times. The sad thing is fast food doesn't even taste good. If I'm lucky and am leaving from work going one direction I can stop for to go homemade chicken tamales from a little Mexican place.

Those tamales are amazing, $2.00 each. One will suffice for a meal.. little family owned place in an old captain Dee's, spotless inside. In a not very good part of town.

Wholefoodnut, your tamales sound WAY better than my McDonald's premium chicken wrap (and, despite three napkins on my lap and the supposed "convenient" cardboard tear-away package, it leaked ALL over my shirt and pants! So much for eating while driving, lol!

Grins, had one of those chicken wraps on my kids adventure last month, we were all starving and McDonald's was the only option. It really was better than I expected but messy, we ate inside. Mexican place s handy for me going straight to kid's ball games after work, because it's on my way, if I don't have my rider. No rider starting Monday Yay!!! Her hours changed. Just in time for football season. Jr high games are right after school, I'll be able to go to some games now, without a hassle.

Great job. I'm really proud of you, especially now that I know you have so many of the same challenges I do. Keep those carbs at bay to keep these results coming!
