Waking weigh in of 207.6. Hoped for lower, but it will come. That blueberry-chocolate smoothie at 7:30 last night was not a neccesity! I wanted more protein for the day, so did two scoops of chocolate protein powder with almond milk. Then added two cups of frozen blueberries to make 'ice cream.' It was fabulous, but then I noted the 214 calories and 53 carbs in the berries alone! Yikes! Better start experimenting with ice cubes! Have a good week.

Ice cubes seem to work well for me with the smoothies - I still use a cup of fruit (usually blueberries), but I also add about a Tbs of Stevia.

Yes, I remember when I first started making protein shakes. I finally totaled the calories and with all my added ingredients (fruit, flax, milk, etc) they were up to 700 + calories. This was when I was not exercising and it was not a meal replacement. I’m so thankful I took the time to add. :)

Draglist, that discovery you made early on in your vacation regarding your breakfast out (remember how it wasn't that many calories?) still makes me think - I believe it's worth it for me to sometimes to blow off the shakes and yogurts and have some pancakes and eggs. Not every day, of course, but if the calories don't go over your limit, it would feel like a mini vacation without ever leaving home. I'd say every few weeks at Denny's or IHOP where the portions are controlled. Just make sure I don't go during "All you can eat pancake week". :)
