i'm sure greatful for fatsecret. I have been able to get some perspective and control over my food intake. My weight loss is slow but I feel so good and not so consumed with eating as much as I can. My son was sitting next to me eating some mini dougnuts and I thought..that sounds good, I think I'll have one. I used my droid to scan in a servings worth of calories before I started eating it. When the screen showed that the doughnut was 120 calories (for a mini doughnut) I said to myself "what a waste of calories" and that doughnut had no power over me. In fact, I was repulsed by the idea of eating it..

I know i love this site for the same real, everytime i wanna eat something i come look it up now. I think about what i could eat more of with less calories. And some things just arent worth it. Good for you, its good to feel better and have a control of what we eat.
