Draglist's Journal, 01 February 2014

Well, forgot to weigh in before dinner. So won't have full Tanita numbers until tomorrow (and I hope to remember to weigh in before the Super Bowl!) Hit my IIFYM numbers pretty close. Sure was a fun day full of eating. Hope the scale tells me good things in the morning.

IIFYM Targets: 70.6 fat, 197.2 carbs, 42-53 fiber, 220.5 protein, 2306 cals

Actual eaten: 73.17 fat, 201.16 carbs, 50.1 fiber, 222.12 protein, 2250 cals

Looking at this, something is off a bit. The FatSecret macros should add up to 2349 calories, but only add up to 2250 calories. Perhaps the amounts on the boxes are off or something. Oh well, pretty close.

Weighing in before the Superbowl (and before the Superbowl snacks) - smart man!

I find that with whole foods it really depends on which one you choose as to how many calories it says you're getting. I don't worry about it thought since IIFYM, or whatever you're using to calculate your needs, is an estimation as well. I do, however, tend to look for the one that gives me the highest calorie count just to be on the safe side.
