I didn't do so well yesterday evening ... started snacking and didn't stop until I went to bed. Paid for it by not sleeping well and having heartburn!! Silly me.
I did however do 45 minutes of Pilates this morning. Slowly I am getting stronger. I still can't do the entire DVD but in time I will. I'm still experimenting with alternating Yoga and Pilates and haven't yet jumped on my elliptical. One thing at a time.
Superbowl Sunday and I am required to make a home made pizza (or ho made as my DH likes to say!) to the "party" we are going to. I'm going to try to make it relatively healthy ... I have some really good Feta cheese, spinach, and will look for a pizza crust ... already made up I think. I can't even remember the last time I made pizza ... many years ago. I'm open to suggestions though if anyone has them. Some of my Facebook friends have already weighed in ... thank you!!!
Cold here. Again. We didn't get a lot of snow last night but those just a tad south of us got slammed I guess. Saturday I will take Mom back to her friend's house where she'll stay a week or so, celebrating Superbowl there then next weekend her Miniature Club Meeting. I have a distributor's meeting Saturday too ... I was hoping DH would come with me but ... if we get down to single digits it is likely he will stay home to keep the fire going so our house doesn't get too cold. No more frozen pipes ... PLEASE!!!
So Happy Friday ... payday too just for kicks and giggles!!! I have a light day ahead of me. Already had one cancellation and only have one other visit scheduled. Hoping to get some grocery shopping done and some other things cleared off my desk.
I did use another calorie calculator and it said 1200 a day RDI for 2 lb loss a week. I think they won't go below 1200 for women ... no matter what. I still don't feel like I'm in my groove yet ... and I'm fighting to find it ... find that balance again in my life where I think well of myself, feel good at least some of the time and can be kind to myself. I'm so out of it but I refuse to give up.
So hopefully all is relatively well in each of your corners of the world. Take care of yourselves, do indeed practice kindness, particularly towards yourselves, and we shall carry on!!!
