Since I have not yet joined the Tanita revolution, I'll just have to presume those are good numbers!

My weight went up tonight by 2 lbs. Most of other numbers were greatly improved though. This is so interesting to compare morning and evening. I will keep on trying. Hope you see a drop by tomorrow! :)

M2B, I think I have a handle on the movement between morning & evening. In the morning, everyone is somewhat dehydrated, so the weight is lower due to the reduced water in the system. By the afternoon or evening, we have caught up and re-hydrated ourselves, so the weight rises. It takes very little liquid to move my weight 2 - 3 pounds. When our water weight is low, the fat pounds are a higher percentage of the total body weight. When water increases, the same amount of fat is a proportionally smaller percentage of the total. Therefore, to be consistent, one should choose the same measurement to use for comparison purposes. Alternatively, if you have been using your morning weight in FS for quite a while, I would just weigh in the morning for purposes of FS, and weigh before dinner after fasting for your body composition chart. Just a thought. TXS

Well if you are 55 and your metabollic age is 27....i think that is an enviable number :) Shows how young you feel!

You are still so much further on than you were. Your body is just adjusting or rebelling or whatever. I know you will get this back under control. You are just feeling your way, as you are changing things up.

Draglist, how do I find out all this information about total body water weight, muscle mass, and fat percentage?

I see why you need a website, Bill. How many times in one week do you get that question? LOL! Thanks TX for that info. I will do that. Made me feel better when you said to use morning weight readings. Phew! The lower body composition in the evening made me happy too. Best of both worlds. :)
