Having a typical lazy Saturday - so different than the Monday - Friday rush. People must get used to stopping by and finding me in my sweatpants.

On my quest to healthier eating I've discovered a new vice: Pistachio nuts. Need to limit them to 1 ounce/day. BTW -already have had my ounce today. Wondering how I'll make it through the next 24 hours - LOL.

Those nuts are addicting. If I buy them I eat them all! So I don't buy them. LOL. I live in jeans and t shirts. These new stretchy exercise pants are so comfy that may a new norm.

Pistachios is a great vice, especially in the shell. Having to shell them makes them go slower. And it's something like 49 kernels to an ounce. Good find. Enjoy the rest of your day, Buffy bear.

Mom - lately on Saturday's I can't seem to get out of my own way. Of course, not a whole lot is getting done around the house.

Almonds and cashews for me. So good for us. So calorie dense. 10 average nuts have more calories than most large apples.

I love living & lounging in my sweats too! Pistachios are great! Do you buy them in the shell? I do because they take longer to eat that way -- my way of self monitoring. Xoxox

I put all my nuts in the freezer (pistachios too), then when I want I just count out my portion and voila - they are out of sight once again in the freezer. Seems to help me control myself.

Northernmusician - Aren't almonds and cashews divine? I insist on eating them for their oils, etc. These old joints need all the help they can get.
