Feeling fed up. I have planters Fasciitis it's so painful I could scream. when I walk I feel like cutting my heel off. I've had it for weeks. Any ideas what I can do about it. I'm on pain killers, also wear in soles but boy the pain is still bad. I have to be on my feet for work. Any ideas please? Merrymel

My dad had it. He had to NOT WALK for six weeks. Then it got better and he has never had it again. He is a walker... never less than five miles a day. (He’s 90 next month) Rest rest and let it get better.

They're not pretty but somehow Crocs really helped both me and my dad with this. You might not want to wear them out (when you're allowed out!) but even just worn around the house they'll hopefully offer some relief. I also found FitFlops a big help.

See if there is a TheraPlate therapist near you, it helps a lot.

Hi I have Planters Fasciitis and it sometimes wakes me up in night I find if you can bend your foot upwards to stretch the muscle at the back of your leg or put it over a tin of beans example it usually helps, hope this is of some help for you.

Get fitted and special soles maybe and one of those little electrical foot massages. Good luck

I had this for almost 2 years, and it sucks. you need to stretch. it's the most important thing. Google all the plantar fasciitis stretches and do them when you wake up in the morning, several times throughout the day and before you go to bed. inserts might help, but they are more expensive than stretching ;-) you can go see a foot dr, they should advise PT before giving you inserts.
