Well the loss has been slowing down the last couple of weeks so I thought I'd take stock.
It's coming up to 12 weeks since I started this diet and I'm about 13.5 kg/30lb/just over 2 stone down. Hard to believe it really, in only 3 months - as someone once said about parenting babies/toddlers, the days can be long but the months go fast.

I can see the change in myself and have dropped a couple of sizes in my trousers, and can fit back into coats/jackets that were too tight on the arms before. What's more noticeable for me than my shape really is how I feel - I am just so much more generally comfortable, no matter what I'm doing. Like a weight has been lifted off me. Oh wait...

In the months before I started this diet my bras had become really uncomfortable, it wasn't that they didn't fit but because of my shape/body fat and that had become a literal pain all day every day. That's gone away now, and since I've gone down a strap size I've treated myself to two new bras that arrived today. This 'non-scale win' makes me so happy!

I'm finding that making sure my proteins are high has been really important to staving off the hunger, and if I do have a day where I can't resist hitting the high cal snacks I just be sure to go without any extras on the days when I am feeling good on the plan.

Anyway, not sure what interest this is to anyone else but I hope it'll be a reminder to me on the harder days not to let myself get that way again. For now I hope in the next couple of weeks I'll drop into the 'overweight' BMI category and soon hit my green FS bar. Then over the Christmas break I really just want to keep within the green bar if I can, rest up and get ready for losing the last 10/12kg or so.
