Fasting a.m. blood sugar 136; weight 168.1 Plan: IF/exercise. Managed to survive Halloween without any candy!! Yay! Ate lunch today with son's family. Delicious homemade chili but definitely not Keto. I ate it with Fritos. It was all delicious. I did skip the pecan pie and my grandson's candy stash! Not a good carb day, but enjoyed the family time. Just checked my blood sugar: it is 69, so I'm eating cottage cheese and kiwi fruit, drinking green tea at 9:30 pm. That makes the carbs increase more, but the glucose level is more important than carbs at this point. I was surprised to find it so low because I didn't notice any symptoms of hypoglycemia until after I checked it. IF works well for diabetics, but almost too well, so frequent checks are necessary. I expect what happened today was the glucose spiked after the heavy carb lunch and then dropped quickly this evening. Macros 28/55/17; 1659 calories; Fiber 26.5; net carbs 94.72; net kcals -474
