BK2526's Journal, 27 August 2020

Provided all goes to plan in 1 week I can start lifting again! Only 5 pounds to start then 10 the following week and so forth. I have to scale down if it becomes too much. Nerve damage was repaired by connecting it. Yay and all that. 🎉🏋️‍♂️
Now not so fun but funny too..
It was strongly implied by a student doctor who was with my doctor that I was losing too much weight and he’s seen women of “my age” becoming more prone to eating disorders. He tells me that losing 8 pounds in a week was not healthy. I guess I looked confused because he read off my weight then tells me today was 8 pounds less. Hmm, okay. They took my weight 3 days after my surgery (and in the afternoon) and this morning. So I was a bit sarcastic in tone and said “Well, duh! I was holding onto fluids from the surgery and last appointment was late afternoon. My true weight is 148.” He looked at my doctor and my doctor just laughed and said “She’s fine. We weigh her every visit.” 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Yeah. I know I should’ve been more patient (as his patient). 😐 The tone just slipped out. Lol. It was just a “whoa, did he really just say that” moment.
