I basically haven't lost any weight in a month. 6 weeks even. But I've not gained any either, which means all that wine I've been drinking, and the piggy meals with friends...all that I can have! Yey! Just not when I want to lose weight.
SO...a bit more before the xmas madness then, because there WILL be Whiskey Macs. And CAKE.
Oooh I'd better get the cakes made!

I didn't lose weight over the summer, but I purposefully didn't want to be obviously dieting in front of the kids. I think I started the summer hols at 139 and am now 137-8, but actually if losing more than a few pounds, it's great to avoid metabolic changes by having a stable period in the middle (justified?) ;P

Definitely justified. Am actually perfectly happy at this weight and as you say, a bit of stability is good. But I'm sure now I've cut out the booze for a bit I can develop a bit more of a buffer for winter, when I always seem to put it on.
