A friend at work shared these peppers with me, but neither of us knows what type they are. I though cayenne at first, but after trying one, I think they may be another type. I'll say one thing ... they have a kick to them for being so small! If anyone can help identify them, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

My sister in law thinks Chile de árbol.
Waiting for my brother in law’s text. He grows a lot of hot peppers, dries them & makes his own spice blends. 🌶

According to Wikipedia.org, Thai chili peppers and Birds Eye chili peppers are different names for the same pepper.

Those are a little more slender than a habanero, Lala. One way I learned to identify habaneros was that they look like miniature pumpkins. But I agree that they are hot!

I think they definitely chili peppers because that’s what Indian people in India dry all the time that chili peppers
