Hi. You have very beautiful hair!Personally I've never had success with hair vitamins but there's plenty on the market. Hormonal changes come & go all our lives for both sexes that affect our hair. Over the years mine has gone from curly to straight & back several times. Use quality hair products (I like Aveda) and make sure you get enough protein. Eating a variety of oils & nuts really helps me. Maybe see a GOOD dermatologist if it doesn't improve to make sure there's no medical problem. Good luck & keep me posted ❣

How you dry your hair matters, too. I suggest using a leave-in conditioner, applied after towel-drying and before any other styling products.

You’re so pretty!! Folic acid, vitamin b, and zinc are supposed to be great for hair! Just make sure if you take zinc, you take it on its own for max absorption.

It might not be the diet but rather the climate. Make sure to have a good shampoo and conditioner. Also, biotin is great! for hair, skin and nails!

Thanks for all the replies guys! I always lightly pat my hair with a wash towel and then I air dry. I use Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner, maybe I should try something new? I live in the desert, so it could be climate based too. It is getting hotter out.
Someone posted about healthy oils and nuts. I agree, maybe I should be adding more of those ingredients in. What curly hair products would you guys recommend? My hair is relatively thin. I haven't found a leave in conditioner that works for me. They usually leave my hair greasy and/or weighed down.

I guess I'm just confused because I haven't had to deal with this issue before. My hair has been like this for a couple of weeks now.

Meep, have you ever tried loreal elvive hair mask? It’s amazing! My hair is naturally frizzy and thin, but this really tames it without weighing it down. That whole line is really good in my opinion, I’ve been using it for years. I always try to stray and try other brands, but come back to this one because it’s the best.

Switch up the shampoo and conditioner. Different seasons, different needs. Hair vitamins are a waste of money if you're eating well. Last thing is if nothing else works, get your thyroid checked. Dry skin, hair and nails can be a symptom of hypothyroidism. Try the easy stuff first.

I haven't tried that salty_mermaid_mama! I'll have to check it out. Next doctor's appointment, I'll ask about it too if nothing works :)

I take collagen supplements. I’m on prescription Folic Acid because I have to take Methotrexate and it causes hair loss. I like the casein powder in my coffee or a waffle because it has a lot of collagen too. I take a Vitamin complex B, Ashwaganda ( I have been out)

I had terribly dry hair and then started using biolage moisture shampoo and conditioner that I got from the salon, plus I use “it’s a 10” leave in conditioner/detangler. Drink lots of water too.
