Erquiaga
peeperjj, I was listening to Jeff Cavaliere the other day. Reduced my girlie pushups from 60 to 40. Went slower with better form. It was more intense, but a better workout.

I went slow lol. 25 reps at first, short few seconds break then 15 reps for each of the other sets. Took maybe 4-5 minutes total. My last set I did quickly and I think that’s what got me. I’ll go slow next time if I decide to do them again. I may try normal pushups and just do 25 and 25.

100 pushups?!! girl or no girl type - that's a LOT!!! No doubt you're sore. take it slow Peeper! I think it is one of the best body weight exercises, along w/body weight squats and burpees that we can do. Nice work, even though you hate em!

Hubby does 200-250 pushups each workout so I thought starting with 100 wouldn’t be an issue. Wrong lol. I can stretch it off and on all day and it gets better around lunch. Then by evening it’s back to being sore and stiff. Still can’t reach completely above my head or it cramps up (the lat). Shoulder has given me issues since my mastectomy 3.5 years ago. The stupid plastic surgeon said no exercises and my oncologist later said the surgeon was supposed to give me a booklet of exercises to do and my shoulder will always give me problems. Frozen shoulder I think it’s called.
