Another work salad... for how long? Venting time. They want to extend my probation at work. Imagine you work for say, a motorcycling company, and you are what they call a Customer Success Manager. A vague title because you actually write communications, handle a lot of things like managing their community, customer service, beta test programme, ambassador programme, related logistics, you also code forums and manage any other unrelated project that they call "oh you took initiatives"... "right good" (underlying meaning, not necessary). And then they say, ok we realise it’s too much, so we split the role. Cool. And then... You’ll be either "communication" but you have to be passioned about motorcycles or you relate more to the customer service but then you have to be more technical to manage the first-level help desk. Me: huh? I am none and you knew that?... I never lied about my skills, degrees or knowledge. I have to take a decision. 3d job in 2 years and my 4th since June 2017. Damn. Oh and that was my herbal tea plus 93% cacao dark chocolate I bought in August. I need to get drunk.

Is it redundant if I say I hope it all works out? 🤷🏻‍♀️ because I do. It sounds like a very hard job.

Jc, Thank you! You know, it's different here in Europe. No one really loses insurance and vacation, well I just take unpaid days. And 5 weeks = minimum plus around 10 bank holidays. Yes that's 7 weeks per year for everyone. At my previous job, I had 20 working days off on the top. Also I am not afraid of taking unpaid days off. Mostly because I am lucky to have a rich dad lol. Thank you again.

Patience can be virtuous, but so can alcohol. Take a bit of both for maximum success! 🤣

Chris, it's a startup, they can't recycle as it's commonly done in big companies. You don't have anyone specifically dedicated to orders here :) I do that too from time to time because I manage our e-commerce/site part to some extent. I have to make a decision 1) I decide I am butthurt and put my ego on a pedestal so I end this. This implies less income, more stress, deconstructed resume and more complications while interviewing in the future, more uncertainty as well. Besides, I really like what I do for the most part even if I am overloaded...because it's versatile and I tend to get bored easily if I am not challenged in a way or another 2) I stay for another chunk of 4 months, but my trust is corrupted and I have to comply with something they are expecting and that I might not be. I can't invent a passion and I can't become a technician overnight. Is this realistic? I can't lie in general, it's visible on my face when I do so I don't. I am always honest about what I am. If I pick this option, mu resume will also show 8 months instead of 4, which is a good thing. So I don't know.

DP I would not say it's hard, but it requires a certain amount of skills that you don't really learn while getting a degree. Because it encapsulates a lot of roles... a story-teller, a technical writer, a copywriter, a project manager, a sales administrator, a customer support specialist, a marketing specialist, a community manager, a logistician, a PR specialist, a first-level helpdesk technician... so this is what we, part-time writers, do every day.. making life and dicks hard LOL.

Hope things work out with your job. Are you able to start your own business? It looks like your very knowledgeable. Hope it all works out for you. Those all are real good choice plates. I love the herbal tea dark chocolate, and almonds. I love all of those, and that is a perfect snack.
