Down 2.2 lbs this morning to 186.6 ... a mere 2.2 lbs up from my weigh-in at the beginning of last weekend. Of course I had fantasies of being down the entire 4.4 lbs. unlike some of my buddies who can cut their calories WAY back and only drink coffee all day I actually ate food. Guess I'm just not strong enough. LOL!!

Another busy day ahead of me. Lately I've had more busy days than not. The days pass quickly though so it is okay. Late this afternoon a colleague and I will be moving some furniture around which I'm not really looking forward to. We'll be trading desks from one cubby to mine. I'll actually get a 'real' desk instead of the computer one I have now. It will be nice when it is done.

I can't think of much else to say today so I guess I'll see what I might be grateful for today and get on with the tasks at hand!

1. Having a job I enjoy most of the time.

2. The return of buddies here on fatsecret who I thought had disappeared (welcome back Glen!!!).

3. Strong coffee.

4. Good friends.

5. Being able to ride the fluctuation waves without beating up on myself!!

Have a good day!! Be good to yourselves consciously practicing kindness and self-acceptance ... remembering that we cannot change what we do not own. Let's 'own' ourselves!!
186.6 lb Lost so far: 72.6 lb.    Still to go: 1.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great job getting that weight down already! I am like you I can't fast. I would want to eat all the more. lol Guess I am just not that diciplined. Hope you are getting a nice desk. I hate moving days too. Carol you would be proud of me. I finally opened all the emails. lol Now to answer or not to answer...that is the question. Have a great day.

Oh yes ... I am SO PROUD!!! Unless they are complete DUDS answer. It doesn't hurt any to correspond a little with someone ... you LIKE to chat!!!! I need to clean up some here in my cubby so I CAN move the desk in. It is an okay desk. At least it is a regular desk so I'll look like a grown-up around here. LOL!! Time to grab myself a cup of coffee ... have fun!! Remember, take nothing too seriously!!

I agree answer those emails Cathy! Moose, nice job with the loss! I'm trying to do a low calorie day but I don't know if I can be as disciplined as Info or Sarah!!

Well, I believe your talking about me and Info with the fasting.... On Monday I had planned on fasting, and did till 2pm, but then caved and ate. Ya know what - I lost just as much (if not more) than I would have fasting the entire day. So what does that tell ya... beats the hell outa me!!!! LOL Have a good day, and don't dread the furtinure moving - think of it as EXERCISE!!!!!

I suppose if someone told a doctor about my coffee fasts, he might have a heart attack himself. :-) I wonder if I'm doing any *real* damage as there must be some consequence to doing this kind of thing. You are right about the days passing by quickly, almost too quickly (as life slips through our fingers). ;-) I hope you can regain a little more of the lost territory tomorrow. Cannot change what we don't OWN....I love it!!! I am VERY much about owning myself....and I love the way you said that!!!! May I USE that sometime???? :) and isn't it REALLY all about owning it!?!?! Anyway great job on decline.......the coffee fast tip......lol!!!! Have a great day!!!!!

Just remember: you are getting paid to move that furniture! lol! I enjoy being a government employee myself most days! Working on owning myself and being KIND!

I don't think listening to what your body needs has anything to do with not being strong. I think it is the right and healthy thing when you embrace what works for you. :) Hope you will be careful with all the heavy lifting and will enjoy your "new" office space as well.
