Did the elliptical at the Rec-Plex for the first time ever. At Level 1 I went for 35 minutes (.93 miles), and I was dying! I met a nice lady there and we started talking. I asked her if she wanted to walk with me, but she was doing the elliptical instead. After I told her I’d never been on one before she offered to show me how to do it. Luckily, we kept talking or I would’ve quit after 3 minutes—seriously! It’s so much easier for me just to walk, and I could’ve walked 2 miles in the same amount of time on the track. But I know I was using different muscles and that I need variety to work more muscle groups. Hubby went with me and he swam. It really is nice that we’re doing this together. It makes me happy. 🥰
