A picture I took not long ago. I like to create those memes.
So I'm curious, what was your weight like in HS? How far did you go? Where do you stand now? Where do you want to go?
Cheering you, my lovely FS friends.

In HS I was underweight. Always the littlest one both height and slimness. Gained the freshman 15 but in my sophomore year of college. But that put me at normal weight. Have fluctuated in the 120s for the most part since then. I became less active at one point and gained to 140 - but still normal, approaching overweight. Lost the excess weight. Almost 2 years ago, put weight back on gaining the relationship 12 - but it was more like 20+. I want to maintain between 117-128 - ideally on the heavier side of that range. I reached my goal weight and currently maintaining within that range. Thanks for the supportive words in your post to FS...what a great meme!

I was about 145 in HS. 5'8" Fit and super strong from working outside all the time. With each pregnancy I crept close to or over 200. Each time I managed to get down to around the 150ish mark. We stopped having kids show up nearly 17 years ago, but then my weight started going up slowly but surely. Highest this year was about 195. I want to get to the 140 to 145 range again and as fit as in HS!! I'm trying hard. 9 pounds to go to the upper end of that, and I am at a better fitness level than probably 20 ago years. Looking back sometimes helps us gain perspective and a touch of hope for where we could return.

I was 145 in HS and thought I was fat. I was 169 in my mid twenties and thought I was fat. Got over 200 having kids and thought I was fat. Got depressed in my thirties and hit 280 and thought I was fat. Battled back to 200, but regained up to 265 in my 50's. Discovered I have celiac, went gluten free which ended the depression. Battled back to 200, then regained up to 243 after a brain injury two years ago. So now I'm fighting back again. But I'm always learning and I'm feeling optimistic. I just have to be vigilant, because I know what will happen if I'm not!

Four years of HS I weight 115 very small waist. Height 5'4" was still called heavy cause I had butt, bust and thighs. Graduated starting working soared up to 135 didn't feel heavy guess normal weight but still those areas where big. Got very sick and went down to 103 pounds never want to see that again. Got married and which each child I would get to 181 have them first two I managed to loss the weight but when #3 came along it stayed on got pregnant with #4 gain only about 10 pounds the same with #5 doctors would yell at me to gain. Gain what I was pushing 181 wasn't going to do that. All my children where fine weights. #1 8.5, #2 8.5, #3 8.4, #4 8.2, #5 7.11 . When I started this journey I was pushing 285 or more didn't step on a scale. Lost a little here and there. Started walking went down to 203 my mom got sick and the weight piled back on. Now I am at 178 still struggling but Today I tried on a size 16/18 and it was WAY TO BIG.

I was always chubby, not fat but chubby, even as a kid. When High school hit my dad was already sick with cancer for about 2 yrs and then he passed away my freshman year. That is when the emotional eating started and stuck with me for a while. But since then I've been the classic yo-yo dieter until hitting my all time high of 280 last May. This past year has been an eye opener for me and I as I turn 46 tomorrow I am the healthiest and fittest I've been my whole life! It's never to late people!

@Kennyn...sorry to hear about your dad. My older sister is biologically my cousin but was raised with me and my younger sister because she lost both her parents young. I have seen the emotional battle and it hasn't been until her 40s where I finally see a break threw. Happy Birthday! Glad to see you doing so well!

I weighed close to or less than I do now, but was about 4 sizes bigger. Converted a lot of fat to muscle in the last 20 years, most of the it in the last 5.

@melissa, 5'8, that's tall. Sometimes our weight is not everything... The most important thing, when we like what we see mirror wise! Keep going!

I love this meme and the questions! I need to hear this because sometimes it is hard to keep on! My weight in HS was not good! I got very heavy in MS and did not lose much weight until after my first relationship breakup, so very end of HS, my heaviest was 165ish to my knowledge. I have always yo-yoed. I am now sitting at about 140 and can't seem to lose and keep it off. I know I lose weight when I cut calories and am active, but then I lose steam at night and on weekends. I want to lose 20 lbs! I will still be at normal BMI. 20 lbs is not that much but it seems so hard... I love foot and I have BED also. my weight is not the most important but I am very jiggly and want to be tighten and lean and muscles

Thanks, @velvetee! And thanks for starting this thread. Finding the discipline to become healthier for the first time or return to a place where we once where is tough, but the folks here and the ability to use this app has made it so much more possible... Well, it felt totally impossible for me before I found this... And everyone here!

143 (39 years ago) and I’m about 145 now but so much more muscular and defined. Couple people asked me if I ever thought about going into bodybuilding. NO WAY, I like my carbs too much!!

The number that sticks in my head is 145 for HS weight (I am almost 5'3"), I definitely had some cushion and curves. I was pretty heavy going into middle school and had slimmed down as my body developed. Had my kiddo at 19 and was in a terrible relationship, my weight soared up to 220-230, and pretty much stayed that way for 21 years. Now I am in the low 160s for the last couple of months, I'm working on overcoming the mental and physical challenges on my path.
