This is why we’re fat. This is a ton of Chow Mein. I’m eating an ounce or two of it and moving on. Menu says a serving is 9 oz. This may be 19!

Wouldn't it be nice to pay half as much for a reasonable healthy portioned serving?

Ha! We’ll never pay half as much, but any discount for less food would be awesome. I will tell you that people buy with their eyes! They want the biggest cinnamon roll, biggest cookie! Only thinkers want smaller portions. They are opening a place called Muscle Makers grill by my house. I’m so excited to have another great eating option!

Yeppers. It's like ordering a Blizzard at Dairy Queen. Only the first couple or three bites are delicious. After that it's just a matter of finishing what I bought as to not waste money yet there's always an eye roll before the "No" if I ask for half a small...even if I offer to pay full price.

Got a cone at McDonald’s today. Ate the top. Don’t like the cone anyway 😁

This is why I order kids portions as much as possible when on my own, or share with my sidekick.

I need to remember that (kids portion) more - as that's actually the portion we should be eating as adults. It's just the usual kids menu is full of breaded chicken fingers or fish sticks - which I guess could be fodder for another journal. What are we teaching the kids?
