baskington's Journal, 11 November 2018

yesterday I spoiled myself and went out to longhorn steakhouse and got the parmesan crusted chicken and I had tons of blue cheese dressing. While these foods are within my woe, dairy is one of those foods I need to avoid. But after weeks of the healing diet I decided to have a little treat. and naturally I am bloated up and it set off my nighttime cravings. Had some pepperoni late. But I slept like a champ.

So if you have late night cravings take a peek at the foods you are eating and see if they may trigger these symptoms. Sometimes you can find that eliminating certain foods will help your progress.

I have been pushing my calories this week and not exercising much if any to see how far I can go without gaining weight. I don't count this pound from yesterday as I am bloated and it should be gone naturally by itself in a day or two. Drinking plenty of water to flush out my system.

It is nice to relax a little and enjoy my food. I am looking into more variety with different types of meat. Lamb will be an experiment some time this week I have been looking for recipes. I have some rib's which seem to be a favorite for me lately. Variety is the spice of life

I love lamb. Fall is when prices go down so I am trying them. I just like to fry up the little lamb chops best.

Sam's club sells in bulk and if I like it I may buy some larger quanties to save. most of the recipes call for seasoning I have never used. If you have some recipes Liv for any of the cuts don't be shy!

Yes it was Kikeit, I am paying for it today, but once in a while it does not hurt!

I've been trying to track down goat meat to try it. I like meat but steak and chicken are only so appetizing after a while.

I love steak but it must be very fatty. I am loving ribs lately too. fortunately they are fatty and my husband does not eat fat, so I get his too! works out pretty well for me.

Lamb is fabulous! Tim trims a boneless leg of lamb, pierces the meat, inserts cloves of garlic, marinated in an Italian dressing that works for our plan overnight and grills it! I think he needs to do this again soon!!!🐑🐑🐑

For some weird reasons steaks make me want to eat sweet things. I love them and I eat them. But to combat these craving I sometimes have to do lemon water or tea or something
