Fasting a.m. BS = 144; weight = 172.2. Family gatherings, church gatherings, funeral gatherings are over for now. I will take back my life today and lose some more fat.

There is an insect, don't know its name, that cuts off small branches of pecan trees. It doesn't bother fruit trees or hackberry trees, but it has carpeted the ground with twigs under our pecan trees. So I got lots of exercise today, bending and picking up the twigs as I helped hubby clean up the yard. This is the first year I remember having such an infestation. Evidently the same weather conditions that brought on an invasion of army worms this year also brought an invasion of this insect. I see evidence everywhere in north Texas that it has been pruning pecan trees. I know that sounds like some made-up story!! We overloaded the wheelbarrow at least six times and have a huge pile to burn!!
