AM fasting BS 131; Planned 1071 cals; 81/5/14 macros; 12.22 net carbs. So far so good. I will probably have to add bouillon and butter this evening to control the cravings. Considering I only sat most of the day yesterday, I am surprisingly tired today. My conclusion: 7 & 8 hour drives should not be done back to back by people over 70! Husband is not feeling up to par today and I'm exhausted. One of the hard things about aging is shifting the mental attitude from casually assuming you can still operate as a 30 yr-old. :-( However, as long as you keep assuming you can, the longer you are able to do it! Aging is a lot mental, and a certain amount physical. I hope to keep the mental part the dominant part for as long as possible. Surprisingly, Keto eating helps that -- provides more energy. Our oldest son once repeated to his grandparents something his Dad didn't remember saying: "old folks shouldn't be running around over the country!" Kids will get you every time! If you say it, they'll repeat it at inconvenient moments! At the time the grandparents were younger than we are now!Update: Total cals 1352; macros 80/7/13 %; net carbs 18.14
