jengetfit123's Journal, 11 June 2018

Gloomy Monday. I ended up taking the whole weekend off to basically do nothing. I feel guilty, but i was so tired. I also am coming to accept that going slow and resting when i need to probably ultimately advances my cause quicker than pushing myself too hard does. I am not 20 anymore. I did a few things here and there but i did not work out. Today is t25 full body circuit. I will also probably do something else too. Maybe helga. My tush hurts just thinking about it, lol. It is looking like it may storm so the dog is hiding under the bed.

I did spend some time looking through my closet and weeding out items that are too big. I am realizing i have some weirdness about clothing that i never saw in myself before. I am going to write on it some in a future post.

Hope everyone is off to a good week!

Rainy here today as well, humidity is not bad however. I agree with not pushing yourself to hard, I am on the same page as you. It can feel like too much, as long as we don't go backwards. curious about your future post about clothes. I just went through my closet as well and got rid of some items, actually feels good having less. Well have a good day!

Adequate recovery is a very important part of the process, no doubt.

Grey days are great for indoor projects - It helps me to focus on things I have been putting off or avoiding. I usually feel better after I get them done.

I am a firm believer in “me” days. Sometimes we need to do nothing but read or watch tv or just nap all weekend. As long as it doesn’t become a habit then I say go for it. It’s a mental and spiritual break that I personally find healthy. I hope you have a great rest of your day!
