I've been working out tons, which is good because one of my goals this year is to compete in an Olympic triathlon this summer. But each weekend, I fall off the wagon, food-wise and eat too much!

I need to bear in mind that I have not been counting calories and eating pretty crappily for the last three weeks. Gaining one pound is not as bad as it could be. That's the power of exercise. But now it's time to get serious.

Today I broke my personal best in my morning swim. 1825 meters in 40 minutes. I don't know how or why I swam so well this morning, but I'll take it. I felt great in the water, but I didn't push myself to my limit, or feel exhausted at any point. I'm thinking more and more about doing an Olympic length triathlon this summer instead of just a sprint. And this is kind of encouraging me to do this.
