Well I have a feeling the next 3 weeks are going to be very stressful. Told my boss about my surgery, which I have a great boss so that was easy. Now trying to get to instructions done up so people know how to do my job and hoping I don't forget anything. I've already started a "To Do List". I have a bunch of crap I want to get done at home before my surgery - so another "To Do List" is on its way.

I will say, thank god my hubby is the one that does all the cooking, laundry, dishes, food shopping. I know, I know...what do I do? lol I clean the house, which I'm a neat freak and it's amazing the mess he leaves behind! lol

Not sure if I can handle a month w/the hubby though, he tends to smother, pamper, not sure what to call it and it'll drive me crazy! I'm a stuborn person and I have to do things for myself and don't like people doing things for me. I guess I will have to give in a little.

Had a stressful weekend - took my girl in to get spayed and she didn't handle it well. First, she bled a lot (laser surgery), the vet didn't bother to tell me that the only way THAT happens is when they are tieing the tube off and it breaks, she was on the table longer than she should have been because of that, she didn't handle the drugs well AND they blew out a vein in her leg. When I got her home she was like an ice cube, so we put her bed on the heater and covered her up w/two blankets. I was up most of the night w/her, took over 24 hrs for her to come out of the drugs and to eat (she got rice and hamburger), took 12 hrs for her to finally have warm paws and ears. Last time that THAT vet will touch my dog!! Completely upset that they couldn't have been more honest as to what happened. The good news...she is back to being her happy self, still sleeps a lot (which is better for her) and just has short spirts of wanting to play - of course we stop that lol. I'm just glad that she pulled through and no complications, that's the most important part.
