i just feel so big and ugly. i feel huge and unhealthy and i know i'm never going to find love looking like this. i hate looking in the mirror i hate wearing clothes that dont' fit me i feel terrible. im trying to eat healthy just one day and i cant do it and im so upset with myself and i feel embarrassed and ashamed. i'm never going to be beautiful enough for someone to love

First you have to forgive yourself. Instead of saying these words. Go back to find out how it happened. Is it the ease of temptation? Lack of support? Etc. Next make a plan what would you like to focus on first? Example: if you like soda and you drink three cans of soda per day change that to drinking two sodas then next week try one then next week after that no soda more water instead. You can do this just remember to tackle things one at a time. With exercise for example start with 10 minutes a day then increase it by 5-10 minutes. Lastly finding love starts from you. You will bring positivity in your life no matter what your size is. We at FS are here too. Keep in contact with us.

Take each day like it was your last and make it count. There is love out there and a positive person will find it.

Sounds like you don't love your appearance but I believe you do love yourself because your appearance matters to you. Fortunately you can bring these two realms in line! No matter what your weight happens to be, clothe yourself and keep your hair and makeup (if used) at their best. As you love your body more you will care for it better by feeding it better. Make peace with what is, then move things in the direction you'd like them to go.

Ok ,what are we doing besides bashing ourselves. Have we tried some self-love first before looking for love. Start loving you first!! Set some goals, baby steps, we're here for you!!

We all get down on ourselves and you are not alone with your feelings. What has helped me to reduce my “stinking thinking” about my body is to have a stinking thinking journal. Every time I thought a stinking, self loathing thought, I wrote it in my journal and did that for 30 days. It really opened my heart to see page after page of self bullying. I had a choice and autonomy to turn each negative thought into an affirmation. Example: Stinking Thinking- I can’t stand my body it’s ugly. Affirmation- I’m grateful I have options available to like my body and if I walk for 15 mins today that’s a step forward to a nicer looking body. Hope this helps. Great advice already given. Wishing you the best on your journey. One step at a time adds up to miles. Calories saved adds up to pounds shed. Think positive thoughts and plan out each day for meals and to attack exercise goals. Start slow so you can last for the long haul and build up good habits. Rooting for you!
