Worked out for 30 minutes on elliptical. Had pizza today. Ate chicken for supper, but still starving. Trying to stop the cravings to go and eat something else.!!!!

This is all new to me, I just joined and thought it might help to have some support, I don't know we will see what happens

Hey, listen, you're starting out great! (even though you may not think so) I started out like that... It was weeks before it finally clicked. I eventually got so sick of crap food (literally garbage for your body) that I had no desire to eat it. I started by eating healthy, stopping eating when I'm not hungry anymore (different from stopping when you're full) and ate more healthy stuff whenever I wanted to eat. If course, I went off track a few times, which I know for me I need to do that once in a while to get the cravings out of my system and then I'm fine for another while. I found what helped me start losing weight the best (after losing 10 from eating good) was running. Maybe you should try it! If it worked for me, maybe it will work for you. If you live somewhere where the weather isn't back, I would recommend running outside. It's more invigorating! If you're hungry now, go eat something whole grain with peanut butter, an apple, and a glass of milk. That usually fills me up quick and for a long time and it's really good for you. Plus, you can eat one food item at a time and stretch it out so your kind of grazing instead of "bingeing".

Oh, and even though the elliptical is a relatively easy machine to use, it doesn't allow you to use the natural motion of your limbs while you use it. It's ok to use for something different, but mix it up a little so your muscles don't get used to that motion.

I haven't been on here in awhile. I have still been dieting though. I have been working out still on the elliptical and when the weather is nice I have been walking instead of using the elliptical. I have hit a plateau again though and getting frustrated.
