*Deep Breath*
Today is a day I take advantage of starting over... I have done this time and time again... and failed... but I cannot let the mistakes of my past bad habits and short comings determine my future.
I need to remember this the next time I want to give in to my cravings for a cheese burger.
I've been silent, non productive, and down right lazy for way... way... way too long.
It's been reflective on my personal life as well as my public one. I've been anti social, with drawn, sad for no reason, weepy, rude (the part I detest about me the most) and angry.
And I know... I know... I know it's this weight.

I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS ANY MORE!!!

The few steps I have taken today I hope will propel me for a good week.

1) I some what meal prepped.
I made my lunch (was supposed to be cabbage and sausage stir fry... became cabbage and sausage stew... too many tomatoes) And for breakfast... since I actually like oatmeal... Think thin protein and fiber oatmeal w/ berries.
Dinners... I like to cook... so I'm still up in the air.. plus I know at least one day this week I'm going out... hopefully as low carb as I can.

2) I picked a work out that will make me sweat... for some this may be counter intuitive... but I get bored with the simple... going for a high paced walk or just lifting weights in a place where I feel intimidated is just going to make me run away.... straight to the arms of a loving drive thru that understands me... the plus side is I can sweat at my own pace and if I fall hopefully I can laugh at my self and not need to go to the ER....

Any body else doing /have done Body Boss??? Thoughts??

3) I am on my own... my fat friends want to stay fat... I keep reading where it says to "get support... tell friends and family what your doing" I've done that so many times I don't know if they believe me... plus I've asked about starting a group or just a couple of friends and I get shrugged off... everyone always has something
to do...
So I'm doing this on my own... sort of...
I still have FS... and the FS community
is what I always keep coming back to.

4) DietBet. Simply put... make the goals... make the money. There's accountability.. regular check ins, photos and the ability to do my own thing has me excited that things might actually be different this time.

If you have made it this far... Thank you for reading... I really appreciate your time. I would love to hear what your starting over point was like... I need all the knowledge and encouragement I can get. Xoxo.

I had an eye opener just looking at vacation photos so I kicked myself in the ass to do something. If I may suggest, take advantage of your body's natural ability to burn fat through fasting. Stick to your daily calories but only eat in an 8 hour window each day (so 8 am to 4 pm or 10 am to 6 pm). If doing this is hard at first, work towards it stretching the time til you have breakfast just a little more each day. But after dinner, your body naturally goes into a fast mode and will stay there until you "break" it. During that time you're body will burn it's own reserves for energy vs burning food. It's something a person can adopt easily and make it a permanent change vs a short term solution. But either way, good luck.

We all fall off the wagon!! I’m a recent return to focusing on fitness goals and eating better. Small steps building routines are the best, we all have indulgences and hiccups, it happens! Stay strong, stay positive, and you got it!
