bebivens89's Journal, 01 April 2010

The scale has gone up a pound and stayed there for a few days, which I'm finding kind of weird. I've also been really tired as of late, and keep getting headaches just a few hours in to class. Its almost like the second I'm back in school, my body has mini panic attacks and holds on to stress or something. I'm looking in to getting at least some form of multivitamin to see if maybe that will help with my energy. And unfortunately for me, I lost an exercise buddy due to conflicting schedules. So hopefully I'll find a new one, or just learn to go by myself.

I'm hoping that come Saturday I go back to what I weighed last Sunday, but we'll see. Maybe my scale was off that day? :)

Your symptoms sound a bit like depression. Eating whole foods vs. processed food and exercise seems to be helping my energy level, but I know everybody's body is different. Your low calorie intake may be a consideration? Hopefully, you will soon figure out what may be going on and start feeling better. Love Mom.

I don't think its depression. More like stress. And the quarter is barely starting...which is lame because I have nothing to be stressed about (yet). But the calorie thing I wonder about. Its just, I'm trying to only eat when I'm hungry, and I'm also trying to make JUST enough to keep me full because I otherwise over-eat and it makes my GERD come back. Today when I came home I had a bad head ache and felt awful, but as soon as I ate some tuna and drank water, I felt better. I think I just need to carry around more protein-packed snacks that aren't sugary.

Brooke I hear that dehydration is also a culprit to headaches so if your water intake could be more you may want to try that. The protein packed snacks sounds like a very good solution. Hard boiled Easter eggs can be your next weeks selection lol.
