JackHampton's Journal, 23 February 2018

Today is the first day, since I started to ‘control my calorie intake’ where I have eaten more than 1700 calories. To say I feel disappointed is an understatement, and it feels like I’ve hit a rock trying to destabilise me and my ‘journey’. Last week I lost 5lbs and I know I won’t repeat that every week, but today I feel like I’m going back to my crisps and chocolate eating ways. Now it is all about re-motivating myself and ensure that in a years time I’m much healthier and fitter too!

On a side note, I’m finding it very difficult to limit the amount of carbs I eat, as a non-fish eater does anyone have any advice. Thanks!

I’ve been really good for 2-3 weeks but yesterday and today I ruined my calorie intake I just couldn’t resist the pizza takeaway while I sat there eating my steamed food.

Limiting carbs is very hard as literally everything we eat contains carbs of some type. I’m struggling too

Dietdoctor.com has some good reference info for low carb. Some good recipes too. Googling ‘keto recipes’ will yield loads of sites with good ideas. All the best!
